Private placement information

On 1 October 2009 Draka announced the launch of an equity offering by way of an accelerated book build offering to eligible institutional and other qualified investors and a private placement to Flint Beheer B.V.
On 22 October 2009, the general meeting of shareholders of Draka approved, among other things, the private placement of 4,061,716 ordinary shares to Flint Beheer B.V. at a price of € 12.40 per ordinary share. Payment for and delivery of these new ordinary shares took place on the same day.
Following publication of a prospectus published on 3 November 2009, the ordinary shares issued to Flint Beheer B.V. have been admitted to trading and listing on Euronext Amsterdam by NYSE Euronext on 5 November 2009
